The problem
Attendance has to keep working when the network doesn't, on cheap hardware.
The approach
Four parts: an InsightFace validation API, an edge service that recognises faces and serves a local dashboard, ESP32-CAM firmware, and a display unit. USB, IP and RTSP cameras supported.
